This was a collaboration with designer Lucie Beauvert who was presenting a project for the University of the Arts, London.
The intention was to take a knitted garment and an architectural volume into an equation of reciprocity.
I designed a hanging system for Lucie which gave her a framework with which to perform and unravel the knitted garment to create a collective dwelling. During the performance, the threads bent and twisted the structure in ways that we had not expected, but which led to an intriguing end result.
