At Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, the Scoop 33 Chair designed for Woodbender was honoured with two prestigious design awards, ‘Best of Clerkenwell’ and ‘Best Craftsmanship’.
These awards are a proud achievement for both the company and for my own design practice. Gaining this kind of recognition on a global stage is amazing and it was a genuine pleasure to showcase the result of the design process, and its greater narrative found in the Scoop 33 chair.
Recognition in both categories reflects the combined quality of my design work, ideation and making knowledge, as well as the skill and craftsmanship of the technical department.
The qualities that define the Scoop 33 Chair illustrate how product is intrinsically connected to making through insightful and rational concept. This has culminated in an industry defining and award-winning result.
